Anne Gill, IOM, has retired from the Tempe (AZ) Chamber after serving for five years. Denise Hart has been named the interim CEO while a search is underway for Gill’s replacement. Hart most recently served as the chamber’s vice president of marketing and programs.
The Temecula Valley (CA) Chamber has announced longtime employee Brooke Nunn has been appointed president/CEO. Nunn had been serving as interim CEO since mid-June.
The Bullhead Area (AZ) Chamber has hired Bo Hellams as its new executive director. Hellams previously worked as public affairs supervisor for Mohave Electric Cooperative.
After a nationwide recruitment process, the Chehalem Valley (OR) Chamber has named Scott Parker as executive director. For the last eight years, Parker served as the executive director of the Friends of the Chief Foundation/Friends of Yampa Valley Arts in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Laura McAndrews Sammel has taken over as CEO for the Lake County (CA) Chamber. Sammel most recently was the CFO/executive human resources and leadership coach at Combs Consulting. Sammel succeeds Melissa Fulton, who retired after more than 30 years of service.
The Beaverton (OR) Chamber has selected Alicia Bermes as its new president/CEO. Bermes previously served as the executive director of the Niles (IL) Chamber.
Kay McDowell has been named the new president/CEO of the Lubbock (TX) Chamber. McDowell most recently served as the executive vice president of public relations at Mitchell Communications. McDowell succeeds Eddie McBride, who is retiring after leading the chamber since 1999.
The Roseville Area (CA) Chamber has announced Rana Ghadban will take over as president/CEO in October. Ghadban will succeed longtime CEO Wendy Gerig, who will retire toward the end of 2021 after 28 years at the helm.
Leron Gubler has been named president emeritus for the Hollywood (CA) Chamber while a search committee conducts the search for a new executive. Gubler previously led the chamber for more than 25 years.
The Tucson Metro (AZ) Chamber has announced that Amber Smith has resigned and Michael Guymon, chamber executive vice president, will serve as interim president and CEO.
