Description: The Laughlin NV Chamber of Commerce is seeking a visionary, motivated, energetic and detail oriented individual to fill the position of President/CEO. Laughlin Chamber is in a beautiful resort community 95 miles south of Las Vegas along the banks of the Lower Colorado River Basin and bordering Bullhead City, AZ and Needles, CA.
The President provides the leadership, direction, and management for all aspects of Chamber activities and is responsible for seeing that strategic initiatives and policies of the Board are effectively implemented.
Under the direction of the 18 Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for maintaining and growing strong membership and financial stability of the Chamber. The CEO provides counsel to the Board and committees regarding public policy, programs, events, and other key initiatives and serves as the principal advocate and spokesperson for the Chamber.
The CEO works closely with a wide range of constituencies in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to build support and relationships consistent with the Chamber’s overall business and community support mission.
Must have HS diploma, a bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or equal management experience in a resort community.

Description: The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a visionary, motivated, energetic and detail oriented individual to fill the position of President/CEO. McMinnville Chamber is in the beautiful community of McMinnville Oregon, situated in the heart of Willamette Valley Wine Country. The Chamber has 470 members from 25 communities across Oregon. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 10-12 years of Executive/Senior level management experience which could include private industry, trade associations, economic development, and/or related public sector or not-for-profit organizations. The ideal profile of career experiences would include a blend of the above-mentioned sectors including executive level role in large corporate or entrepreneurial environment.
- A proven successful executive with the ability to provide dynamic internal and external leadership to the San Jose Chamber of Commerce to achieve revenue objectives, budgeted annual gross and net revenue, and other program and financial goals within the annual business plan.
- A successful senior level executive with a demonstrated record of delivering results in line with the objectives of the strategic plan.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business or political strategies and manage tactical execution to achieve results.
- A businessperson with a track record of involvement at the leadership level in community organizations, trade associations, and public sector organizations.
- An excellent internal leader recognized for the ability to develop, motivate, and build functional teams that regularly achieve and maintain superior levels of performance.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a credible reputation and high-profile presence in the community on behalf of an organization.
- An understanding of the need to promote racial equity within the organization, a commitment to accountability regarding race/ethnicity, and unbiased inclusion of feedback and ideas.
- Proven excellence in written and oral communication as well as proven media experience are essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of community and economic development as well as political dynamics within a state or metropolitan economy of more than 3 million residents.
- Experience in soliciting and securing sponsorship dollars from public/private sector
