Julie Johnston, IOM, has announced she is leaving the Martinez (CA) Chamber to move to the state of Washington. A search for her replacement is under way.

Steve Van Dorn has announced that after a 25-year career in the chamber industry, he will be retiring at the beginning of May. Van Dorn most recently has served as president/CEO of the Pleasanton (CA) Chamber. An executive search is currently being conducted to find his successor.

The Sedona (AZ) Chamber & Tourism Bureau has announced that Candace Carr Strauss has resigned from her position as president/CEO. Michelle Conway, director of marketing, has been selected to serve as interim president/CEO.

Steve McShane has accepted the permanent position of president/CEO for the Salinas Valley (CA) Chamber. McShane has been serving as the interim since December, when Paul Farmer resigned his position.

Colin Diaz, ACE, IOM, has announced that he will be the new president/CEO of the Tempe (AZ) Chamber. Diaz has led the Culver City (CA) Chamber for the past 4.5 years. He succeeds Anne Gill, who retired after leading the Tempe Chamber for five years.

Nathan Ahle is the new director of government affairs (South Valley) for Comcast. He most recently served as the CEO of the Tulare County (CA) Economic Development Corporation.

The Centralia-Chehalis (WA) Chamber has announced Cynthia Mudge has been hired as its new executive director. Mudge comes to the area following more than a dozen years supporting business in Astoria. Mudge succeeds Alicia Bull, who led the chamber for 10 years.
