David Archer has been chosen as the new president/CEO of the Manhattan Beach (CA) Chamber. Archer previously led chambers in Pismo Beach, Sausalito and La Quinta. Archer succeeds Kelly Stroman, who is now managing director of the Friendship Foundation’s $40 million Friendship Campus project in Redondo Beach.
The Wichita (KS) Regional Chamber has announced that John Rolfe is their next president/CEO. Rolfe comes from Kansas Leadership Center, where he served as chief business officer since 2019.
The Sherman Oaks (CA) Chamber has hired Vickie Bourdas Martinez as their new CEO. Bourdas Martinez brings to the chamber more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, entertainment, and finance industries.

The Tulsa (OK) Regional Chamber was named the 2021 Economic Development Organization of the Year by the International Economic Development Organization at its Excellence in Economic Development Awards in Nashville.

W.A.C.E. Life Member Jerry Vorpahl has passed away. For many years, Vorpahl served as the Western Region director for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He was the Pettit Award recipient in 1988.
