Now is the time to sign up for this year’s fall W.A.C.E. webinar series.
This year’s webinar series will provide four informative sessions once a month beginning in September and running through December.
“Our annual webinar series has always provided valuable and timely best practices on a variety of topics and issues that we all face,” said series coordinator Jeremy Harris, ACE, president/CEO of the Long Beach Area (CA) Chamber. “This year is no different and our line-up of presenters is an all-star group who undoubtedly will be informative and provocative.”
Webinar Wednesdays
• September 15: “The New Office Place.” This webinar will feature Kristen Miller, president/CEO of the Santa Barbara South Coast (CA) Chamber, and Tallia Hart, CEO of the Healdsburg (CA) Chamber. They will address the challenges and opportunities facing us in today’s workplace.
• October 6: “Communication Tools — Including Podcasts and Social Media Tips.” Sarah Watts, president/CEO of the Gilbert (AZ) Chamber; Ben Kalkman, owner of Rocket Media; and Colin Diaz, president/CEO of the Culver City (CA) Chamber will cover the bases on many important and new communication tools for today’s chamber.
• November 3: “Building Your Community: Learning from Inter-City Visits.” Dave Jochum, promotion and events manager of the Longview (TX) Chamber, and Tom Pierson, ACE, president/CEO of the Tacoma-Pierce County (WA) Chamber, will share their experiences and takeaways from their chambers’ inter-city visits.
• December 1: We’ll be wrapping up this year’s series with a roundtable session on “Lessons Learned and What’s on the Horizon for Chambers in 2022.” During this session Harris will be joined by Lorraine Clarno, ACE, president/CEO of the Kalispell (MT) Chamber; Brittany Quick-Warner, president/CEO of the Eugene Area (OR) Chamber; and W.A.C.E. Chair of the Board Chris Romer, ACE, president/CEO of the Vail Valley (CO) Partnership. The group will share their perspectives and insights about key issues facing the chamber industry.

Registration for the four-part series is $120 for W.A.C.E. members/$240 for nonmembers and will be available until September 8.
Pricing for individual webinars is $60 for members and $120 for nonmembers.
The webinars, which will be recorded to facilitate sharing with your chamber team, will be one-hour long and will be presented live on the above dates from 10 a.m.–11 a.m. (Pacific).
