Beth Ziesenis, also known as “Beth Z” and “Your Nerdy Best Friend,” will be joining us at the 2019 annual conference to share insights on how to put the technology at your fingertips to work to make your life easier at work and at home.
“With everything that’s going on and changing in the tech world, it seemed like a great idea to have Beth, who was the top-rated speaker at our 2012 conference, make a return appearance at our conference in Disneyland,” said Conference Chair Chris Romer, president/CEO of the Vail Valley (CO) Partnership.
In addition to presenting a general session talk during Thursday’s lunch, Ziesenis will be doing a breakout session on “Secret Tech Weapons for Chamber Professionals.”
Since her first Commodore 64 computer, Ziesenis has made a verb out of the word nerd.
She helps computer users all over the world filter through thousands of apps, gadgets, widgets and doodads to find the perfect free and bargain technology tools for business and personal use.
Beth is the author of four tech books; her latest is The Big Book of Apps.
You can count on Ziesenis’ presentations to be witty, easy-to-understand and full of usable takeaways. She shares solutions to many of the most common tech questions and offers suggestions to help with all kinds of real-life challenges, including:
• Emptying your inbox;
• Managing your passwords;
• Creating surveys and polls;
• Organizing files and photos; and
• Managing schedules and projects.
Although the only real trophy she ever won was for making perfect french fries at McDonalds in high school, Ziesenis has been featured on “Best Speaker” lists by Meeting & Conventions and MeetingsNet magazines.
Registration information for the 2019 annual conference, which will be February 6–8 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, will be available in early November.
